The NANA addiction

I admit...

this is the first time I liked LOVED a movie starring TWO GIRLS (being a hard core 'yaoi' fan and all). NANA was a movie about friendship and dreams. I can see myself on both of them (selfish much? not really...just schizo) and I'm really moved by the story.

Eneweiz, next time I log in, I promised a full Nana review!

PSICOM Aftermath

Aftermath..what a word. As if namang may aftermath talaga kung pagkatapos ng isang con, another one will follow. Same same...medyo weird lang kasi may kids at sanay ako na madaming tao talaga. Pero ok lang, at least di siksikan at.. *drumrolls* MAY OURAN DISC TWO NA KO!!!! *insert evil anime laugh*.

also, I get to meet new crushes friends. Masaya dahil SA WAKAS nakumpleto na din NUBS! (First time na mangyari na walang kulang sa grupo). Hay...life.XD

Well, sina maks at hime lang nag-cos. Dapat ako din pero tinamad ako magdala. Buti na lang dahil ayokong makipag-compete sa katulad ko dun. XD

All in all, masaya sya. Though lie low muna ako dahil sa kung anuanong ka-churvahan ng college life.

As I made the first step towards the darkness...

Sabi nila, "The first time you'll step unto the darkness of the unknown, Only two things will happen to you..."

Sa buhay ko, lagi akong sheltered. Lahat ng gusto ko nakukuha ko. Pero kahit masasabing masaya na ang buhay ko, alam kong kulang pa ito.

Second year ako nang una kong subukang ipabasa sa mundo ang mga sinusulat ko. Nagsimula ako sa nutshell, isang fansite para sa YuuYuu Hakushu. Madami din akong naging kaibigan doon...at madami ding natutunan.

Pangalawa kong sinubukan ang realm. Di ko nga alam na magtatagal ako sa site na yun. Ang aastig kasi ng mga nagsusulat. Dumating nga yung time na naisipan kong tumigil. Di ko sila kasing galing magsulat...wala ako ng talent nila. Iyong kalibre ng pagsusulat nila, malalalim samantalang ang sa akin, sobrang babaw.

Doon ko naisip sumuko...

Sa mga panahong iyon nakilala ko si Draken. Tonette ang pangalan niya sa totoong buhay. Masaya siya kasama at madali kaming naging magkaibigan. Medyo liberated siya at iyon ang nagustuhan ko. Wala siyang kiyeme at sinasabi niya lahat ng naiisip niya. At dahil sa kanya, nabuhay ang loob ko. Sabi niya, "practice lang fel! Lahat kaya mo basta isipin mo walang makakapigil sa'yo." Pinaniwalaan ko siya at nagpatuloy ako sa pagsusulat.

Pero dumating din ako sa panahon na gusto kong sumubok ng iba. Sumang-ayon sa akin si Tonette at magkasabay kaming pumunta sa ibang parte ng internet.

Sa FF, mas maraming magaling. Kung astig na ang mga nasa realm, nalaglag ang panga namin sa mga sinusulat ng mag tao dito. At di tulad sa realm, public archive ito. Mas madaming pumupunta...mas madaming nagbabasa...

Natakot ako ulit. Lumitaw ulit ang mga insecurities ko sa buhay...

What if bigyan lang ako ng bad review?

What if walang pumansin sa gawa ko?

At ang pinakamasakit, what if may magpamukha sa akin na kahit kelan wala akong talento?

Lahat ng masasakit na pwedeng mang-yari sa akin, inisip ko na. Pero di na ako pwedeng mag-back out. Isa pa, nangako na ako kay Tonette. Sabay kaming papasok sa mas malaking mundo ng mga manunulat...

"But if you felt air...have faith..."

Mag-iisang taon na ako sa FF nang una kong natanggap ang pinakatatakutan ko.

Isang Flame.

Sabi niya, wala daw akong kwenta. Lahat ng gawa ko basura. Mas mabuti pa tumigil ako at kahit kelan wag na magsulat for the rest of my fuckin' life.

Ang sakit non! Yung mga salita niya, isang saksak sa akin. Ganun ba ako talaga? Basura lang ba talaga ang lahat? I fell into a dark spiral of self-pity. Di ko alam kung makakabangon pa akong muli...

Tatlong buwan akong tumigil...hindi ko talaga matanggap yon. Kahit sina Draken, sina kuya Dark, at ate ali walang nagawa para sa akin. Ayoko na...Sumusuko na ako...di ko talaga kaya ang pagsusulat...

Isang araw may natanggap akong sulat.

Mula siya sa isang 15 yrs. old na babae...

Baguhan din siya noon at hindi ko alam, simula pa pala nung mga araw ko sa nutshell, binabasa na niya ang gawa ko. Sabi niya, nakakarelate siya sa mga sinusulat ko at naging inspirasyon niya yon para subukan ding magsulat. Naniwala siya sa sarili niya dahil nakita niya kung paano ako naniwala sa sarili ko. Sinabi niya na insecure siya talaga at kung pwede basahin ko muna ang gawa niya. Napakalaki ng tiwala niya sa mga sasabihin ko dahil alam niya, isa akong magaling na manunulat...

Nakita ko ang sarili ko sa kanya...

Doon ko na-realize...sobra akong nag-focus sa mga kapwa ko writers at di ko na naisip na gusto ko ang pagsusulat. Ang natatak sa utak ko, 'kailangan kong maging magaling.' Nakalimutan ko...ang pagsusulat hindi contest.

Siguro kaya ko natanggap yung dalawang e-mail na iyon...para mamulat ako. Para maalala ko na ang tunay na rason ng pagsusulat ko ay dahil masaya ako sa ginagawa ko at kinukumpleto nito ang buhay ko...

"for as you fall, you'll be taught how to fly."

Madalas sabihin sa akin,

"Mahina Ka..."

"Hindi mo kaya..."

"Wag mo nang subukan..."

"Mabibigo ka lang."

Tuwing sinasabi sa akin iyon, hindi ko pinagkakailang nag-aalinlangan ako. Natatakot akong sumubok dahil baka totoo ang mga sinasabi nila...

Pero biglang pumapasok sa utak ko ang sinabi sa akin ng batang iyon...

"Naniniwala ako sa iyo kasi naniniwala ka sa sarili mo."

Tama. Kailangan ko lang maniwala sa sarili ko at kaya kong gawin lahat. Sina Draken, Kuya Dark, Ate Ali...lahat sila naniniwala sa akin. Mga kaibigan ko...naniniwala sila na kaya ko. Mga tagabasa ko...nagtitiwala sa kakayahan ko.

May rason pa ba para sumuko?

At ngayon, sumali ako sa isang grupo ng mga magagaling magsulat. Passion nila ang pagsusulat at alam ko, may tsansang hindi ako matanggap...

Kung matatanggap ako...

Kung hindi...

Alam kong meron pa akong pagkukulang at kaya ko iyong punan.
